The story

Haystack is a tech recruitment agency. The name comes from the idea of finding the one engineer or tech leader a team needs in a big haystack of candidates. The line on the site is "Move the needle."

Haystack works in Swiss-led recruitment sprints. The scorecard is agreed with the hiring team before the search starts. Candidates do short work samples that look like the real job, and the team gets a weekly report on the results.

I wrote the positioning and built the site myself. As you scroll, straw falls into a haystack, a search line goes through it, a needle comes out and its thread connects the shortlist. It's built with Next.js and three.js, with a Brevo contact form, generated share images and full search metadata.

A lot of my work is about people in tech. Emineon and Haystack help companies hire tech talent. I built Emineon OS, the recruiting tool I wanted while doing that work, and Romandy CTO brings tech leaders together.

  • Emineon OSAn AI-native ATS and CRM for recruiters, with CV parsing, matching and a copilot.
  • Romandy CTOThe bilingual platform behind a peer network of senior tech leaders in Romandy.
  • EmineonA consulting and talent company with an English and French site and a daily blog.
